Add an option to blacklist a process (terminate it as soon as it starts) and to limit the number of instances of a program (both are sorely missed features from Process Lasso)

Response from the site administrator
evgeni, 31.05.2011
The blacklist is available as quarantine.
Than you for the second suggestion, I'll think about it

include a security rating based on behavior analysis of the process

Well, basically it has a list of known malware/viral behavior and rates them accordingly. For example, if it were signed by a trusted company then it gives it a +10 rating. If it is able to monitor and log system activity, a -7 rating. If it...

Allow the user to define a system baseline/snapshot

Chameleon should allow the user to take a snapshot of their systems over a user defined period of time (start recording/stop recording) and use that as a baseline for their system. The baseline would record all of the processes running on the...

add instances, so i can monitor several machines in 1 window, just by clicking on the list.

Eksamplewise if you have 2 machines, you could install the program on both, and 1 or both of them to connect to each other and administrate them. That would definitely make it usable in the server world. To have everything in 1 place.

Choices of font and font size for application window

Have font choices, ideally an option to have a font choice along with font size, that would be a huge additional perk to the program (ease of visibility and ui comfortableness element)

To kill (stop) a process. Enhance feature.

This feature does not work 100%. Some programs remain running. This problem is not only in Chameleon. Other softwares that purport the same feature, also fail.

Be able to set fixed process/app boot order.

This would allow for setting the load of low level and security processes before less essential ones on a consistant basis.

I'm not sure what you means.
The startup order can be configured with Chameleon Startup Manager

Could you describe in which cases you really need to move the column?
